“Our cotton is grown in the district of Dhar, in the Northern state of Madhya Pradesh (India).
It is grown by 400 farmers mostly of aborigine origin, each owning on average less than 15 acres of land, grouped into a cooperative. The cooperative buys the cotton at a price 80% higher than conventional cotton. It provides technical support to organic farmers as well as an assistance to any member of the local farming community seeking to change their way of farming from traditional to organic.” –La Queue du Chat website
