While Green Toys don’t tick a C&C certification box, they tick some really important boxes and we just had to share the great things this company is doing. Toys made for the imagination are manufactured from 100% post-consumer recycled plastics. All their toys are made in the US and are tested for their safety and are phthalate free and BPA free. The majority of the recycled plastic comes from milk jugs, reducing landfill and giving new life to polyethylene. The jugs are collected by a waste management, cleaned, shredded into flakes, reprocessed into a raw material, and mixed with food-sade, mineral-based coloring, then turned into a fun and playful toy for your child.
